15 Reactions while Reading

1-As someone who loves films, tv, and scriptwriting, I love how scriptwriting plays a role in this story so early on. 

2-Sloane and Liam have a really lovely friendship based on the background given so far. I can’t wait to see them interact.  

3-I love the interaction between Sloane and Liam. I’m already getting romance vibes from them. 

4-I hope the relationship between Liam and his dad improves over the course of this book. 

5- I love how the book has quotes from The Cove before the start of the chapter. 

6- The first interaction between Sloane and Aspen is hilarious because she was being snarky about him moments before. 

7- I feel like You can tell Liam has feelings for Sloane, and she seems to have the same types of feelings for him. I can’t wait to see where the story goes. 

8- I loved Sloane’s first note to Lia so much. 

9-Aspen wants Liam’s help to win Sloane over, and I’m so here for the drama. 

10- The fact that Sloane asks Liam to get her out of the house for a little, and Liam accepts is so cute. I just love the two of them together.           

11-I love that Liam has to be crew on Slone and Aspen’s date because you can really tell how much he likes Sloane in this scene. 

12-Aspen’s Co-Star Riley coming into the scene when Slone and Aspen were in the school was fantastic to me because I love a little extra drama in my books. 

13-I feel like Liam’s dad could care a bit more about Sloane’s health. He seemed to have not read the text saying she was ok until it was too late. 

14- While I can see why Sloane thinking about Liam is a bad thing, there’s also another side of me that loves that she’s thinking about Liam. 

15- I just loved the end of this story. The romance was sweet, and I loved the characters.

About the Author

Kaitlyn Hill is a writer, reader, and sweet tea enthusiast who believes that all the world is not, in fact, a stage, but a romance novel waiting to happen. She is the author of Love from Scratch and Not Here to Stay Friends.

Kaitlyn has a BA in Sociology/Anthropology and German Studies, which means that she can tell you way too much about the Communist Manifesto in Karl Marx’s mother tongue. Before landing on writing, she worked in roles from city government intern in a small German town to Haunted Mansion Maid at Walt Disney World, and most recently, at her hometown public library.

Aside from books, Kaitlyn’s favorite things are giraffes, ABBA, and excessively long naps. She lives with her real life romance hero in Lexington, Kentucky.
