Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @thatartsyreadergirl. This weekly meme is based on our love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt, and we readers will respond with our list. We also have the option of doing our own thing. This week, our topic is Comfort Reads (Share which books or kinds of books you turn to when you need to escape. You can either share specific titles if you love to re-read, or you could share qualities of books you look for in a comfort read.) I love this topic, and I had a lot of fun coming up with my list for this week. I tend to go for Contemporary stories, especially in the YA genre, but I also like to spice it up with Middle-Grade, Classics, Historical Fiction, and Adult Fiction. When I want a comfort read, I go back to the characters and stories that mean a lot to me.
1- Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan (series)
2- Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
3- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
4- Fearless (Fearless Series Book 1) by Mandy Gonzalez
5- The Chance to Fly by Ali Stroker and Stacy Davidowitz
6- 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston
7- Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
8- One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston
9- The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
10- Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee
Jane Eyre is a wonderful choice.

I do love Fangirl! My son just finished the Percy Jackson books and he really loved them. Moved straight onto the next series, which for me, is amazing. I love seeing him choose to read over his iPad lol

Fangirl is such a good one! Not necessarily easy, but there’s something so wholesome about it in the end.
