Hi! I took an unexpected hiatus last week, but I’m back now. Jana hosts Top Ten Tuesday @thatartsyreadergirl. This meme was born out of a love of lists and bringing the book blogging community together. Each week, Jana will post a prompt, and we readers will respond with our list. We also have the option of doing our own topic if we would like. This week, our topic is Books With Your Favorite Trope/Theme (Submitted by Raincheckandread.com and Sara Beth @ Life, Love, Writing). I am going with the theme of strong friendships/ found family,
1- Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills
The friends’ group in this YA novel wasn’t really friends at the start of the novel. Over the course of events, they become friends and I just love it.
2- Ophelia After All by Racquel Marie
I recently listened to this, and I loved Ophelia and her relationship with her friends so much.
3- Six of Crows Dulogy by Leigh Bardugo
When you think of a strong friend group/found family, the crows are the definition of found family. They help each other out, and I just love their friendship and their vibes.
4- A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas
This is another case of a large ensemble cast and supporting characters becoming a found family. Their relationships are so sweet, and the way they all care for each other is so sweet.
5- The Creekwood series by Becky Albertalli
One of my favorite YA series is also one of my favorite friendships/ found families. Simon has an amazing group of friends, and I love how much they care for each other.
6- Fearless by Mandy Gonzalez
One of my favorite Middle-Grade novels is also one of my favorite friend groups. I love all the kids and how much they help each other and care about each other.
7- One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston
A NA novel where the friends were excellent, and they were all so sweet to each other. The main character, August, lives with roommates when she moves to New York City, and I just loved them a lot.
8- All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir (Current Read)
I put a current read on here because I love the friendship and found family elements between Sal and Noor. I don’t want to spoil the book because it’s a new release, but if you like Found Family, consider checking out this book.
9- Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan
Percy Jackson is another series where Found Family plays a strong element in the story, as well as the characters.
10- The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows
I knew I had a tenth book, but I couldn’t think of it. This book was on a list, and I had to add it because it’s not one people might think about when they hear found family. The friends in this group was so good, and I just loved reading about them.
I’ve heard good things about the Six of Crows duology!

Ugh I really need to read Six Of Crows don’t I? In the past few weeks it’s been on so many TTT lists and I keep saying I’ll read it. It will happen!!! I also love the friendships in The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and The Creekwood series is one I think I would enjoy, I am a huge YA fan and I still haven’t read it! I loved Percy Jackson too…there are so many on this list I either love or am desperate to read! Casey McQuinston is also 100% an author I NEED to read from, one of my friends is obsessed with R,W&RB, but One Last Stop sounds great too!
Thanks for the comments on my blog too, I really appreciate it 🙂

I love the found family trope! I’ve read tons of books featuring it, although of course none of them are coming to mind right now. LOL.
Happy TTT!
